- Hello,
-
- My C= 1950 multisync monitor has suddenly gone black on me and I am searching
- for tips on what may be the problem.
-
- The monitor's power LED lights and the monitor itself makes the usual high
- pitched (faint) sound indicating it is working but the screen itself is black.
-
- I have tried it on two working Ami's and am positive the monitor is at fault
- (not the Amiga itself).
-
- I have tried adjusting the brightness, contrast, etc to no avail. Is there by
- any chance a common failure mode for these units (ie solder on some component
- goes bad etc...)?
-
- Any help or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks
-
- Eric
