  12. My C= 1950 multisync monitor has suddenly gone black on me and I am searching
  13. for tips on what may be the problem.

  15. The monitor's power LED lights and the monitor itself makes the usual high
  16. pitched (faint) sound indicating it is working but the screen itself is black.
  17.  
  18. I have tried it on two working Ami's and am positive the monitor is at fault
  19. (not the Amiga itself).

  21. I have tried adjusting the brightness, contrast, etc to no avail.  Is there by
  22. any chance a common failure mode for these units (ie solder on some component
  23. goes bad etc...)?

  25. Any help or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
